SMACS Entry

Kit 1-door Virtual Airlock/Mantrap

Product reference: ASB_SMACS_ENTRY_1 (uni-directional) and ASB_SMACS_ENTRY_2 (bi-directional).

SMACS Flex

Kit 2 to 4-door Airlock/Mantrap

Product reference: ASB_SMACS_FLEX_1/4 (for 1 to 4 control zones).

SMACS Material

Kit 2-door material-only Airlock/Mantrap

This configuration transforms any large 2-door room into a material-only airlock.  The position of the doors is not important (e.g can be in line or at right angles).  The surface area may vary from 10-24m2, depending on the nature of the material to be transported.  This kit is suitable for the supervision of any material-only application (e.g vaults, server rooms, data centres). 

How it works: the entry door is opened using a badge reader or simple pushbutton.  The person deposits the material inside the airlock and leaves by the entry door.  The analysis may be automatic or initiated through use of a badge or biometric reader.  After a short analysis period the material may be recovered at the second door if no human presence was detected inside the airlock.  If somebody is detected inside the airlock, the 2nd door remains closed and the 1st is reopened to allow their exit.

SMACS Flex+Material

Kit 2 to 4-door Airlock/Mantrap with large material zone

This configuration transforms any large 2 to 4-door room into an airlock or mantrap with material transport capability.  The position of the doors is not important (e.g can be in line or at right angles).  The surface area may vary from 10-24m2, depending on the nature of the material to be transported.  This kit is suitable for the supervision of any application that requires the occasional accompanied transport of material (e.g vaults, server rooms, data centres).  If large material may require the presence of 2 persons, it is possible to add a 2nd singularisation zone at additional cost.

How it works: the entry door is opened using a badge reader or simple pushbutton.  The person(s) deposit the material inside the airlock and then identify themselves in the singularisation zones.  If the persons are each alone and have correct access rights, they may then proceed to the desired exit door and use a badge or pushbutton to evacuate the material through this door.  If other human presence is detected inside the airlock the exit doors remains closed and the entry door is reopened to allow their exit.
